Segway Navimow i110N Review (2026)
The Segway Navimow i110N is the mower that mainstreamed wire-free robot mowing. When it launched in early 2024, the idea of a robot mower without perimeter wire felt like science fiction. Two years later, the i110N remains the benchmark every other wire-free mower is judged against — and after 90 days of testing on our 1/4-acre test lawn, we understand why.
Summary: What You Need to Know
The i110N is the best wire-free robot mower for the average suburban homeowner with a 1/8 to 1/4 acre lawn. It's not the cheapest, it's not the most powerful, and it doesn't have AWD — but it does the basics better than any competitor in its price range.
Segway Navimow i110N — Current Amazon Price
The mower that mainstreamed wire-free mowing. Excellent mapping, strong app, massive community.
Lawn size: 1/4 acre (0.1 ha) · Slope: 30% · Navigation: RTK-GPS + AI Vision
Navigation Performance
Dual-system: RTK-GPS as primary, AI vision as backup. The RTK-GPS provides centimeter-accurate positioning using a base station you mount in your yard. In our 90-day test on a 1/4-acre lawn with one large maple tree, navigation was excellent — the mower spent about 85% of its time on pure RTK-GPS and seamlessly handed off to AI vision under the tree. Never got lost, never mowed outside the boundary. Only weakness: at the edge of our property where a tall fence blocked sky view, the mower slowed noticeably.
Mowing Quality
8.7-inch cutting width, 1.2-2.4 inch cutting height. Three pivoting blades produce a clean cut without tearing. Cut quality is excellent at 2.2 inches — our test lawn looked consistently tidy. Stripe pattern is decent but not exceptional. Light leaf debris (under an inch) gets mulched into the lawn; heavy leaf cover clogs the deck.
Battery & Runtime
150 Wh lithium-ion, 180 minutes runtime per charge, 90-minute recharge. On our 1/4-acre test lawn, the i110N completed a full mow cycle in about 75 minutes, leaving 100+ minutes of runtime in reserve. For a 1/8-acre lawn the i110N is overkill; for a 3/8-acre lawn you'd want the LUBA 2 AWD 1000 instead.
Smartphone App
The Segway Navimow app is the best robot mower app we've used in 2026. Intuitive mapping, multi-zone scheduling, real-time position tracking, push notifications for stuck/finished/firmware updates. Remote control feature lets you drive the mower manually. Only complaint: firmware updates occasionally fail and require a manual restart (happened twice in 90 days).
Build Quality & Durability
Thick plastic composite chassis that flexes slightly under pressure but doesn't crack. Gold-plated charging contacts. IPX5 water resistance — handles rain and sprinklers but not submersion. After 90 days of regular use, our test unit showed no significant wear beyond minor scuffing on the deck underside.
